Wednesday, Feb. 26, 12:15 p.m. Choral Music from the YSU Dana School of Music is featured in a free Music at Noon concert in the Butler Institute of American Art.

Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1 p.m., and Thursday, Feb. 27, 10 a.m. YSU’s results from the National Survey of Student Engagement Survey will be highlighted in workshops by the YSU Office of Assessment in the Gallery of Kilcawley Center. More here.

Thursday, Feb. 27, 7 p.m. Mari-Lynn Evans, award-winning producer of “Coal Country” and the PBS documentary, “The Appalachians,” previews her third documentary, “Blood On the Mountain,” at the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor (The Steel Museum,) 151 Wood Street, in Youngstown.

Friday, Feb. 28, 7:30 p.m. University Theater opens “Twelfth Night in 2014,” a newly devised production based on works by William Shakespeare. The show will run Feb. 28, March 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9, in Spotlight Theater in Bliss Hall on the YSU campus. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m., while the Sunday matinee performances are at 2 p.m. More here.

Friday and Saturday, Feb. 28 and March 1, 8 p.m. YSU’s Ward Beecher Planetarium presents “Cosmic Castaways.” The planetarium also shows “Space Shapes” 1 and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 1. Free.
