Sunday, Dec. 16, 2 p.m. YSU Fall Commencement in Beeghly Center. Michael Garvey of Canfield, president and chief executive of M-7 Technologies in Youngstown, and Vincent Deem, who will graduate summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and a minor in biology, are the featured speakers.

Friday, Dec. 14, 6:30 p.m. Jimma McWilson, co-founder of the FAMILY Empowerment Student Achievement Institute, is the keynote speaker at the 13th annual Jabali event in the Chestnut Room of Kilcawley Center.
