YSU alumna’s art exhibited in Bliss Gallery

Youngstown State University’s Department of Art announces an exhibit by YSU alumna Janna Wheeler titled “Revealing the Unacknowledged,” in the Bliss Gallery in Bliss Hall, opening Monday, Sept. 30 and running through Friday, Oct. 11.

An opening reception will take place 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3. The exhibit and opening reception are free and open to the public. Parking is available in the Wick Avenue parking deck for a nominal fee. For more information, call 330-941-3627.

Wheeler earned a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in General Studio Arts in May 2011 from YSU.  She also holds a master of Fine Arts degree in Studio Arts in Two-Dimensional Studies. She has recently been accepted into an artist residency at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnston, Vt. She currently resides in Columbus, Ohio where she works as a production artist for Unit 70 Studios.
