Women Artists exhibit at McDonough through July 27

Sixty pieces of art created by 35 women are on display at the McDonough Museum of Art as part of the YWCA of Youngstown’s 30th annual Women Artists: A Celebration exhibit.

The exhibit runs through July 27. The display includes paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures, and fiber, ceramics and metal works. The show offers local, regional and national women artists the opportunity to gain recognition for their work. Leslie A. Brothers, direct or the McDonough Museum, was juror for the show.

The museum, located at 525 Wick Ave. in Youngstown, is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Admission is free.
