Scott Schulick’s nine-year term as a member of the YSU Board of Trustees expires this spring, ending a relationship that dates back two decades when he first served as a student member of the board. During his tenure, Schulick chaired every committee and subcommittee of the board at least once, led the 2010 Presidential Search Advisory Committee and served as chair of the board for three years. In a resolution of appreciation approved at the trustees’ March 13 meeting, the board recognized Schulick’s “passionate commitment, enthusiastic leadership and, perhaps most of all, his insistence upon transparency and integrity.”
