Social Work Day March 28 at YSU
The event, held in conjunction with the National Association of Social Works’ Social Work Month, celebrates the profession of Social Work and honors field educators who give of their time and expertise each year to supervise student field interns in YSU’s Social Work programs. The event also honors advisory board members who give of their time and expertise in providing feedback for YSU’s Social Work programs.
Ruth Lipschutz, private practice and National Association of Social Workers ethics trainer, presents “What Do I Do Now? Successfully Resolving Ethical Dilemmas.” Lipschutz has served as the chairperson of NASW’s National Ethics Committee and serves as a panelist, consultant, mediator and trainer. She is recognized as a national expert on Social Work ethics and ethical dilemma decision making.
Timothy Moss, president of the Board of the NASW-OH Chapter, will present “State of Social Work.” Also presenting will be Christine Barnes, Region IV director of the NASW – OH Chapter. Danielle Smith, executive director of the NASW-Ohio Chapter, will also be in attendance.
