Home Savings gives $2,700 to WYSU

The Home Savings Charitable Foundation has provided a $2,700 grant to 88.5 FM WYSU, Youngstown State University’s public radio station.

“WYSU is honored and appreciative to have Home Savings and Home Savings Charitable Foundation as long-time sponsors,” said Ed Goist, WYSU development officers. “Their ongoing, generous support of WYSU reflects their commitment to the region and to the arts.”

Darlene Pavlock, executive director of Home Savings Charitable Foundation, said: “Home Savings is proud of its longstanding tradition for supporting local organizations that give back to the community. We believe in supporting community assets list WYSU and will continue to do so in the future.”

Goist said that direct public support such as this from sponsors, underwriters and members is more important for WYSU now than ever before because of the instability of so many other funding sources.
