GRE prep classes set for March at YSU

January 24, 2013  |

Non-credit review courses to help people prepare for the verbal and quantitative sections of the Graduate Record Exam are being offered by Youngstown State University’s Williamson College of Business Administration.

The GRE is required as a part of the admissions process for many college graduate programs. YSU requires applicants to the master of business of administration program to take either the GRE or the Graduate Management Admissions Test.

The courses will be offered on four consecutive Saturdays – March 9, 16, 23 and 30 in Room 2225 in Williamson Hall on the YSU campus. Each course consists of four, four-hour sessions. The quantitative section will be offered 8 a.m. to noon each day, and the verbal section will be offered 1 to 5 p.m. each day. Individuals can register for one or both of the sections.

The cost is $155 for the verbal prep course, $155 for the quantitative prep course or $255 for both courses.

Class participants will have the opportunity to take practice tests, measure progress, learn the reasoning behind the questions and gain confidence preparing for the GRE. Each participant will receive a GRE prep book included in the cost of the course.

To register, e-mail Monique Bradford at mrbradford@ysu.edu or online at web.ysu.edu/wcba. For more information, call 330-941-3069.
