Head coach Eric Wolford leads the 2014 version of the YSU Penguins into the annual Red-White Spring Game this week.

Fans can get an early look at the 2014 Youngstown State University Penguins football team at the 42nd annual Red-White Spring Game at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 25, at Stambaugh Stadium.

Tickets are $5. The ticket office is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. For more information contact the YSU Athletic Ticket Office at 330-941-1978. All seating for the game is general admission and will be in the West stands. The East side will be closed. Gates open at 6 p.m.

The YSU Penguin Club has a pre-game party starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Stambaugh Stadium Gymnasium complex, featuring food and beverages. The cost is $12 for Penguin Club members and $14 for non-members. Included in the price will be one ticket to the Red-White game, along with a dinner of hot dogs, chips, and beverages. Also, all attendees will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win various prizes such as sideline passes for the Red-White game, footballs, YSU apparel, and loge tickets. Additionally, YSU coaches will be stopping by throughout the event.

Parking will be available in all lots around the stadium.

For the second consecutive year, YSU has seven home games this upcoming season, including four against Missouri Valley Football Conference foes. YSU opens the campaign with a road tilt at Illinois on Aug. 30.
