“Export to India” seminar set for April 18 on campus

An “Export to India” seminar, sponsored by the International Trade Assistance Center at Youngstown State University, will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., April 18, 2014, in the Williamson College of Business Administration on campus.

Deepti Vithal, an international trade attorney licensed to practice in the state of New York and in India, will educate local businesses about export opportunities in India. With over a decade of legal/business experience in helping businesses get their products to and from foreign markets, Deepti assists clients with creating successful operations with foreign partners. She is also a NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional.

India has one of the most rapidly growing economies today. Construction of nearly everything, from airports to container ports to teleports, is setting the stage to remake India. India’s entrepreneurs and technologists have the vitality and knowledge to make the country a global economic powerhouse, and the infrastructure requirements present numerous trade opportunities for Ohio companies.
